Genius results can’t be updated because the iTunes Store doesn’t recognize your music library

When you try to add songs and get “Genius results can’t be updated because the iTunes Store doesn’t recognize your music library” error message, try the following steps.

  1. Account > Sing out
  2. Close Music app
  3. Re-open Music app
  4. Account > Sign in

Then you should see the synching process resumes again.
